Wildtake is a service operated by Indy Finn LLC (“Wildtake,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Wildtake provides a platform that helps film, video, and other production teams collect and manage on-camera release forms.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed through the Wildtake service.
Information submitted through release forms
When someone submits a release form through Wildtake, we may collect and process information requested by the producer or production company that created the form, including:
- Full name
- Email address and phone number
- A photograph or selfie used to help identify and match the individual to their release
- A drawn signature
- Compensation information, if applicable
- Other information included in the release form
The producer or production company that created the project determines what information is requested and the purposes for which the release is collected. Wildtake processes and stores this information on the producer’s behalf.
Information collected when a release is submitted
When a release form is submitted, we may also automatically collect certain technical and submission information, including:
- IP address
- Date and time of submission
- Basic browser and device information
We use this information to maintain records associated with a submission and to help protect the security and integrity of the Wildtake service.
Producer and account information
When you create or use a Wildtake account, we may collect information such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Organization or company information
- Account information
- Project and shoot information
- Communications with Wildtake
- Technical information associated with use of the service, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and server or security logs
How we use information
We use information processed through Wildtake to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Wildtake service
- Store and organize release forms for producers
- Generate release documents, PDFs, exports, and other requested records
- Maintain records associated with release submissions
- Provide customer support
- Send transactional communications relating to the service
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
Wildtake does not sell personal information or use information submitted through release forms for advertising.
If a person requests an email copy of their submitted release, their email address and information necessary to send that message may be processed through our transactional email provider.
Service providers
We use third-party service providers to operate Wildtake. These providers may process personal information as necessary to provide their services to us.
Our current service providers include:
- Supabase, which provides database, authentication, and file-storage infrastructure
- Vercel, which provides application hosting and infrastructure
- Resend, which provides transactional email delivery
These providers maintain their own privacy and security practices.
Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through Wildtake.
Release photographs and signatures are stored using access-controlled storage and are not intended to be publicly accessible.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data retention
Release information is generally retained while the associated producer account remains active or for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Wildtake service.
Producers may delete individual releases and may request deletion of their account.
Some information may remain temporarily in backups or may be retained where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or establish or defend legal claims.
Producers are responsible for maintaining any copies of release records they require after terminating their Wildtake account.
Privacy requests
The producer or production company that created a release form generally controls the information collected through that form.
If you submitted a release and would like to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with it, you should contact the producer or production company responsible for the production.
You may also contact Wildtake at hello@wildtake.co. When appropriate, we may forward your request to the applicable producer or assist the producer in responding to it.
Certain information, including signed release records, may need to be retained for contractual, legal, or other legitimate purposes.
Wildtake account holders may contact us regarding their account information at hello@wildtake.co.
Children and minors
Wildtake is not intended for children to create accounts independently.
When a production involves a minor, the producer or production company is responsible for obtaining any consent, authorization, or signature required from a parent or legal guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
